Their
Mission: "Kids Are Us" is a chartered
not for profit corporation born out of a dream to
establish a ministry to provide a stable home environment
for children who require alternatives to living
with their parents or guardians. The children learn
structure and family responsibilities. They have
a opportunity to excel in school and to grow in
their understanding of God's word. These children
need to eat regular meals, have adequate clothing,
and sleep in a warm bed, and sense the feeling of
belonging. They also come to us with individual
needs and emotional struggles. Only with loving,
caring adults to guide and provide established and
enforced boundaries will these children be able
to break the cycle of broken homes. |
